Class Schedule
There are many ways to give to Ballet Spartanburg. Dimes, dollars and dance all matter. Donations and gifts to Ballet Spartanburg are part of the foundation which supports our education, performances, and outreach. Please consider today the importance of the arts and the statistics of how dance affects both young and old. We are more than just dance- we are an educational life journey through movement.
Donate Online
The easiest way to make a contribution to Ballet Spartanburg is through our on line secure giving portal. You will receive an email confirmation immediately and a tax acknowledgement letter shortly after your donation date. You may designate your gift to any area. DANCERS’ CIRCLE SOCIETY
Past and present dancers, Board Members, volunteers, teachers and families have all played an important part to our present programming. A gift made in honor/memory of a loved one shows continued support of our mission. Names will appear in the program, monthly newsletter and on plaque outside our office.
BARBARA FERGUSON SCHOLARSHIP
Barbara Ferguson was Ballet Spartanburg’s first dance instructor in 1967. She was an incomparable dancer, choreographer, teacher and treasured friend who died in 1990. This scholarship was named in her memory to support underserved student's desire to dance.
POINTE SHOE FUND
This fund supports the high cost of pointe shoes for our professional company. One dancer could use approximately 10 pairs of pointe shoes at a cost of $100 per season.
Carlos Agudelo Boys' Fund
This fund was created to honor Carlos Agudelo and to support underserved boys who have a desire to dance.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Our programs reach morer than 10,000 children/adults per season in and, after school, partnering with Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brother, Big Sister clubs, city parks and recreational centers, retirement/nursing homes and assisted living centers to name a few.
GIFTS OF CASH

Ballet Spartanburg
200 East Saint John Street
Spartanburg, South Carolina 29306
You will receive an acknowledgment letter for your tax records shortly after your gift is received. To check your membership level or for further information, please contact Teresa S. Hough at 583-0339 or THough@spartanarts.org.
Gifts of Securities, Stocks, or Bonds Gifts of securities, stocks, or bonds provide the same membership benefits as gifts of cash and can be a cost-effective way to donate. A gift of stock that has been held for more than a year allows you to claim a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the donated stock as well as helping avoid the capital gains tax that would have been due upon their sale.
