Li Diane Lee
SMC Student Intern Summer 2016

" Li is a bright, driven, dedicated young  Spartanburg Methodist College student. Li devoted over 100 hours in our office over the summer and was efficient in any area in which she assisted the staff. From answering the phone, to digging into and organizing archival information, to filing, Li was a member of our family this summer and we will highly recommend her for any future business or arts related endeavors. She will be missed by all of us!'

"I'm so glad that I took the opportunity to intern at Ballet Spartanburg this summer because I've learned so much from it. Some of the things that I learned was how  connected Ballet Spartanburg was with all the local businesses and schools around town. Because I interned at the Ballet Spartanburg's offices, I've learned about so many places that I never knew existed. It opened my eyes to all organizations in Spartanburg and how great it is! I got to discover a lot about the home-grown businesses around the area. It definitely gave me an appreciation of all the hard work that has to put into making a business work. I also got to witness how people can come and participate in non-profit organizations and how crucial it is foe the community to be  a part of it. I'm grateful for the summer internship and I'll take what I've learned from it and apply it to my future career. I would also like to say a special thank you to the Executive Director, Teresa Hough. She allowed me to have this great chance to learn more about businesses and the art of ballet." - Li Diane Lee
